Potbellys out in C is fantastic. Quick and staff is always in a great mood.
Adam Nicholas BurkeNovember 14, 2010Fastest security checkpoints of any airport I have ever been to. No stress. Keep up the great work, BWI!- Did they put the rental cat lot in DC on purpose? Leave lots of time if you need to pick up or drop off. The bus ride is 8 mins, and finding the place adds another 10.
If you're in B and have some time to kill, head to B10. Plenty of comfy chairs and outlets and no people!
There's a bench between gates 41 and 42 behind the counter with no armrests and near a outlet. Perfect for naps.

Absolutely.... The security lines may be Heavy, but they do "shuttle" you through pretty quick!

Despite intimidatingly long security lines, got through the Concourse D TSA line in about 25 minutes.
Fastest BWI security I have ever had to go through. Checked two SWA bags and made it through security to my gate in 10 minutes.

Can't seem to get their buses to the rental car facility to be timely. Most times there won't be one for 10 min and then 2 show up one behind the other!- BayRunner Shuttle between BWI and Frederick hourly for $37. Reservations required. 301-898-2571.
It is too crowded , but you can pay for the employee line it's ganna be super fast

TSA is checking boarding passes twice again - as you enter security line and just before X-ray / metal detectors. Keep your docs handy and don't put them through the machine.
Southwest and Air Tran have security on the lower level. Much shorter lines!!!

Print your boarding pass - the mobile scanner at security (that's right, scanner, not scanners) is always down due to dead batteries... Way to go TSA..
Saturday morning travel is very easy and quick, getting through security as long as your are not checking any bags!
