If you have TSA Precheck, it doesn't matter. You have to go through regular. Annoying.

Don't wear sandals if you want to sit down. There are mice EVETYWHERE living under the chairs. Staff refer to them all as their pets.

Only the TSA in Portland, ME have been nicer. Then again, I know how to get in and out of security. It seems a lot of my fellow travelers haven't been on a plane since 9/11.

Absolutely.... The security lines may be Heavy, but they do "shuttle" you through pretty quick!

I agree with the clean bathrooms, but I've picked up my luggage at airports around the world in half the time I get it here. They are SLOW!! Carry on if you can.

There's a bench between gates 41 and 42 behind the counter with no armrests and near a outlet. Perfect for naps.

TSA is checking boarding passes twice again - as you enter security line and just before X-ray / metal detectors. Keep your docs handy and don't put them through the machine.

It always takes forever to get your bags, so there's really no need to rush from the gate. Better yet, don't check yo stuff!

After a failed attempt to land in DCA Flt 712 was in the air for 2 hours. We just landed in Baltimore to refuel. No word on if United will fly us back to DC. Weather bad so glad we at least landed
