if you're early to pick someone up, there's free 1hr parking at the rental car facility. AC, bathrooms and snacks etc inside.

If you're traveling Southwest, go through security area C regardless of gate. A little more walking but the line is about half as long.

Seems to have good luck at BWI. Just checked my 67lb bag with no problem on SW and got through security in 15 min. If the security line is long, try downstairs. It's never really crowded.

If you have not signed up for TSA Pre Check, I highly recommend it! Through security in 5 minutes.

This airport sucks when it comes to outlets! The best airpprt at accommodating someone traveling with a phone or computer (everyone) is Chicago!

If you're an evening arrival, have your people pick you up upstairs at departures; Few are there that late and no one is hassling you to move your car and it's much easier to spot your pick up.

Pro tip: there's an Au Bon Pain across from terminal a7 and a9. Best place to eat at BWI, hands down.

If you need to fill up the rental car gas tank better do it before you take the airport exit. There is none to be found anywhere near the car rental facility.

Small united flights make you check carry on luggage w/wheels at the gate, more or less defeating the purpose of only bringing carry on luggage.

Curbside check in isn't always the fastest - check at the ticket counter first. Security is usually pretty slow, so arrive early!

There's a Bestbuy vending machine and you can buy gadgets like camera, earplugs, gps and more incase you left those home and needed it. Cool!
