If you've gotta drop off a rental, don't mess around. That 8 minute bus ride from the rental location to the terminal will be the most stressful of your life.

Keeping liquids in checked baggage is always your best bet, but if you aren’t checking luggage, predetermine how much liquid security allows and plan ahead to avoid losing your favorite shampoo!

Not a bad airport. Modern, clean, and finding baggage claim and car rental is extremely convenient. I'd rather fly into this airport if you are heading to Washington DC/Baltimore region. 😀😀😀

Precheck is available here! Get Global Entry and speed through security for domestic flights (and speed through customs and immigration at qualifying airports when coming back to the US)!

Still the best airport in the DC-Baltimore area, but baggage claim and pick up traffic issues need to be addressed.

The airport is nice enough, but rental cars are offsite and renters are required to ride (at least sometimes) an extremely overcrowded shuttle bus to the rental facility.

Your best bet from the airport is a cab for about $20 or hop on the Light Rail to Penn Station. Light rail trains leave every 30 minutes on Saturdays

I think that's the most convenient airport of the DC area, it has Southwest (cheap flight) and good transportation, and it's not too much of a headache to get in and out.
