Absolutely a dive bar. Drinks are stiff. If you're feeling divey definitely go for it.

I like this place, although i'd disagree with foursquare's description of it as being a smoke shop. It's not, it's a restaurant and bar.

For fun, stop in first at the upscale Matador across the street, then head here. Both a friend and I have seen patrons fall down drunk on sidewalk out front, in mid morning hours.
