Foursquare tips did not do us wrong -- kebabs are great, cauliflower is great. The pita & hummus & olive oil you get right after you sit may be the best part tho. a bit pricey. I bet brunch is killer

Don't miss the cauliflower (the one without tahini!), the makanek (gorgeously fatty and meaty lamb sausages), or the lambtartar. the mujadara is also great if you have any vegs in tow.
Amazing place! Loved the pita with zaatar they bring. Hummus was good. Loved arnabeet mekle (cauliflower) - a little lemony. Fattoush was really good! Hubster found his chicken Kabob to be dry.
I walk by everyday and am glad I finally gave it a shot. Table favorites: falafel, hummus, fattoush salad, cauliflower w/ yogurttahini, grilled halloum, and filet mignon. Fun for a group!
French to classic Middle Easter cuisine. Frisee aux lardons salad and brioche french toast, shakshuka, kafta benedict, and an "Au Za'atar Breakfast," which is the restaurant's "greatest strength."
This is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve been too outside of Lebanon. Fine, delicate flavors. The baba ghanouj is Smokey, as I like it, the arnabeet divine, the meat heavenly. Mouthwatering.
"falafel Benedict with spicy tomato sauce, or house-made hummus with shawarma. Or just keep it a la cate with chilishakshukabaked eggs or a croque monsieur"
We have been to Au Za'atar twice for brunch and dinner. Top of our list of amazing food service ambiance. Reservations recommended. Definitely 10 out of 10!
The Bitches say: B. The offerings at Au Za’atar are flavorful and fresh. While the service has some kinks to be worked out, this is a good option for groups seeking casualbrunch fare. Read more
Brunch! It's French and Arabian cuisine so everything sounds really interesting. Great service and take group reservations! Good food but nice atmosphere mostly.
Grab 3+ people and go to town on the mezzes (especially the fried cauliflower). Wine list includes a generous list of some very reasonably priced bottles.
