Had an awsome time in this place, great music by (to me) unknown bands like Random acts of blindness which were actually very good. Vibe in here is second to none!

Karaoke night is a blast whether you're a participant or spectator, and even if your voice isn't as pristine as your fellow karaoke-ers, the band will have you sounding at least somewhat like a star. Read more

Such a funny concept to take a grocery store and turn that into a bar and a live house. Live house part requires $10 cover but is good for all night

There are few things more fun than seeing your friend’s band play at Arlene’s. Maybe singing karaoke to said friend’s band on Monday nights is more fun.

Aside from being an awesome bar and rock club, it is also the home of the "Lombardi Case 1975" - one of the best interactive theater experiences in New York City. Go see it!

Best dive bar on the LES. After the rock show, the left side of the bar turns into a fun dance party, perfect place to end your night.

Fun spot with usually good live music. Sometimes too loud, and frequently overcrowded, but worth visiting to at least check it out.

Intimate (tiny room) venue, but great sound and great staff. Door security was personable, friendly. Bar staff at street level was cool.

Cool venue, nice staff, just not usually crowded, which affects the atmosphere. Generally good music, mixed in w/ pop covers you might want to avoid (maybe that's why the bar is separate).

played here in 2010. Huge room was hard to fill... but seeing a bigger band here is fun! 2 rooms, great drinks, no watered down nonsense like many other similar dives

The bartender here was VERY rude to me. Was w/friends who were drunk but behaving and tipping well. I hadn't had a single drink and when I ordered a shot he told me "I clearly didn't need it."
