- Joann PanSeptember 12, 2013This eatery serves NYC's tiniest $7 tacos and $8 tostados. Tonight a friend and I ordered the Campeche ceviche (mostly cucumber) and the Morelos botana to start and literally got TWO chips to share.
- Tyler BrockJune 28, 2013The Morelos here might be one of the most amazing things you could ever eat. Spicy corn off the cob with some mayo like sauce.
- !Riquísimo! The Zihuatanejo, Morelos, and Zacatenas were all bomb, and the seasonal sangria is surprisingly good. Can't wait to try more!
- Russell HirschornSeptember 21, 2013Food was well prepared and tasty with great service. Very expensive with tiny portions. You will leave hungry if you dont spend at least $100.
- Stephan BothaJuly 9, 2013Excellent food quality but they either need to drop the price per item or increase the quantity of food for each. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food but were left hungry
- alpha chiDecember 21, 2013Intimate setting, well decorated, explains the high prices. The food has complex flavor combinations. You're basically paying entrée level prices for glorified appetizers. Would come for happyhour.
- sharmeenAugust 3, 2013awesome food. amazing service!!!! get the groupon and you'll have enough for 2. crickets? wow never thought I'd love them.
- Conch VSeptember 8, 2013Amazing micheladas ! Great flavor food ! Well served tacos! Worth every penny!
- Jennifer OmApril 20, 2013Hard to find even when standing in front if it but worth the search. Portions are tiny so order lots and expect a big bill. At $6-$9 per nibble it adds up quickly!
- Lindsay DugganFebruary 16, 2014Watch out for the blue corn tortilla chips & tostadas, they're hard enough to crack your teeth!
- Pamela MartinettiSeptember 15, 2013If you are really hungry, this is not the place. It's more like little Mexican tapas. The cricket tacos are a must.
- Antojeria La Popular signature dish: Chiapas -blue corn with CRICKETS tostada.
- Tony RuizJune 29, 2013Order the Oaxaca if you want something that tastes like seafood but is in fact crickets.
- Scar3crow (Ian Matheson)April 29, 2013Tiny, tiny, food. Very good, slickly packaged, but tiny. $22 for me and still hungry.
- Ashley SingletonNovember 4, 2013Overpriced food for such small portions. We waited two hours for our food to come out and we only a group of four. Our pitcher of sangria took 30 minutes alone. Don't go! Not worth it
- brittanyJuly 18, 2013Doooooon't. Just don't. Waited an hour for a single taco that's priced like 3 tacos, to be presented as a quarter of a taco. Tiniest portions for outrageous prices. NO NO NO
