Modern city with more coffee shops than any city I've ever been to. Great food, relatively cheap to other big cities, and great night life.

Beautiful, lazy-chill town, 3-hour bus ride north from Chiang Mai.
Plan to stay 2 days and end up staying 2-weeks is the norm for this town.
