Really lovely place. Beautiful decor, attentive service, very delicious food. They always have something different, like interesting salads or veg dishes. Come on weekend, try a bit of everything

Not a big fan of Indian lunch buffets but this was one of the best buffets I have ever had. The variety was awesome, they even had Pani Puri with tamarind water! Delicious Indian food!
Really good Indian food, be sure to mix up the menu a bit and order your favourite curry with your favourite meat or veg. Garlic naan, always garlic naan.
A fantastic lunch buffet - cleanrestaurant, excellent selection of food (from duck to grilled fish and classic Indian dishes!) plus friendly service. A can't-miss spot on the next SFO visit!
The Kumbh, Hara Pyaz Kofta was delicious and different from any Indian dish I've ever had. FerryMarket was also excellent, but more similar to Indian food I've had before
While the Butter chicken is very good don't miss out on really delightfully flavored dishes like the Lamb Qorma which is incredible. Couple your meal with an Indian beer like the 22oz Taj Mahal.
If you want to go to a nice restaurant and you feel like Indian food try Amber India. Pop into the bar area where you can order drinks and food without a reservation or much of a wait.
Naan is soft and melts in the mouth. Butter chicken deserves the rave reviews. Rogan josh gravy had a balanced taste, not too spicy and not too meaty but the lamb pieces were a tad too big.
Call them to reserve table space if you have a group. Lunch buffets are good and cost about $18 per head during the weekdays. Expect longer stand-in-queue time between 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays
Great Indian food! We didn't make a reservation, and they had no tables; but they recommended we ate at the bar - worked really well and we had a great evening. Definitely worth a try.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had....we had the Butter Chicken and one of the lamb dishes flavored with saffron and ginger. Delicious! Watermelon julep was great too!
The spinach chat and duckkabob were outstanding. Main dish suffered an identity crisis - indian or french or italian. Yummy, but paled in comparison to the primers.
Some of the best naan bread I've had in awhile. Pricier but worthy because of the quality. decent happy hour vibe from 5-7. service is excellent. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Try the Butter Chicken - Excellent dish! Very good textures and spices combination. I wouldn't make it a signature dish though (as it is now), as it is not, by far, unique.
