- Wish they had more indie, but not bad overall. The storage units for the back issues are really nice to look through. Everything is so CLEAN!!Upvoted Sep 15
- I have since decided this is the best comic book store in the city. Mostly because of the people: knowledgeable yes, but not pretentious. It's a very inviting and fun atmosphere they've created.
- Check out the rack of local comics near the back. Lots of cool zines still being put out in the Chicago area. Makes for good stocking stuffers too.
- BellyCardAugust 28, 2012Tucked away in a little corner in Andersonville, there is a store called AlleyCat Comics. Check in w @bellycard & get a free $1 comic, punch a staff member in the stomach or receive a $20 gift card
- Jon ZambranoAugust 4, 2012The owners were incredibly nice! That tiny unassuming entrance leads to a fantastic store. Can't wait to go back!
- Patric HoehnkeJuly 18, 2015A hidden gem of a comic book store. Events, great selection, staff/owners always give great advice, and are super friendly!
- Andersonville Chamber Of CommerceNovember 30, 2012My husband loves it when we can stop here - a great place to celebrate his (not so inner) nerdiness.
- What a great little store in Andersonville! Just north of starbucks on the west side of clark.
- Matt DickerAugust 28, 2018Quote from my wife...”this is the only comic book store I’ve ever been in where I don’t feel like a curiosity for being a woman.”
- ...krakoom...? I think not. Just became mayor of this wonderful establishment ;)
- KRAKOOM!!! what's that!? Oh that's me being mayor again. You can call me your honor! Eat it Selene!!
- Ask the owner, Nick, what his favorite Spider-man comic is.
