Nicest spot in Greenpoint? Kinda fancy. Great vermouth selection (and drinks in general). While it's a bit Spanish, there's a lot here for vegetarians. This is what happens when aesthetes make food.
It's the strange and frightening new Brooklyn where you pay $12 for a tomato tartine. With that said, it's the most delicious tomatoes-and-goat-cheese on a slab of bread you'll have in your life.
Beautiful new spot by the chef of Brooklyn Star. Oysters are a must! Try the Phil Collins cocktail. Foie gras sandwich is wonderful but tiny for $17. Go for the cheeseburger.
Alameda is lowkey the best restaurant in Greenpoint. I was genuinely shocked at how good the Arctic char was. This place just does everything well. A near-perfect spot.
unbelievable burger - juicy and light + pimento fries. amazing design from HOME, undisturbed outdoor seating in front, such an inviting not so hidden gem neighborhood spot
The cool horseshoe-shaped bar and refined but welcoming atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. Also fun to sit outside in the summer. Menu is rather short, visit for drinks.
Beautiful bar, great service. Daily specials are fresh and phenomenal. For cocktails, the Roberto Burns (smokey mezcal). Random fact: they also sell cigarettes...
There is no air conditioning inside, but the decor makes it worth your while. If the crowd is exuding too much body heat, try the tables outside. Perfect for a date &/or catching up with friends.
Cocktails are the main event at this laid-back spot in north Greenpoint. Good for a date or a light bite. You're gonna be tempted, but I don't recommend the cheese fries.
