- Ash PondersAugust 15, 2015Nicest spot in Greenpoint? Kinda fancy. Great vermouth selection (and drinks in general). While it's a bit Spanish, there's a lot here for vegetarians. This is what happens when aesthetes make food.
- Neal U.August 12, 2013It's the strange and frightening new Brooklyn where you pay $12 for a tomato tartine. With that said, it's the most delicious tomatoes-and-goat-cheese on a slab of bread you'll have in your life.
- Kristi EvansMay 28, 2013Beautiful new spot by the chef of Brooklyn Star. Oysters are a must! Try the Phil Collins cocktail. Foie gras sandwich is wonderful but tiny for $17. Go for the cheeseburger.
- Stina P.June 23, 2016unbelievable burger - juicy and light + pimento fries. amazing design from HOME, undisturbed outdoor seating in front, such an inviting not so hidden gem neighborhood spot
- Alameda is lowkey the best restaurant in Greenpoint. I was genuinely shocked at how good the Arctic char was. This place just does everything well. A near-perfect spot.
- Kinjil MathurMay 22, 2015The type of bar that makes you want to sit and drink for hours uninterrupted. Get the pimento fries.
- Alameda is one of the most beautiful bars I’ve ever been to. It’s not cheap but has a round huge cozy bar that makes you feel like you’re in a hotel.
- Marie La RueNovember 22, 2018The cool horseshoe-shaped bar and refined but welcoming atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. Also fun to sit outside in the summer. Menu is rather short, visit for drinks.
- Anuj MathurMay 21, 2015great selection of brews, but hard to pass up on an ice cold coors original stubby (grab some pimento cheese fries to accompany).
- Beautiful bar, great service. Daily specials are fresh and phenomenal. For cocktails, the Roberto Burns (smokey mezcal). Random fact: they also sell cigarettes...
- Tim HettlerJuly 12, 2015Cocktails are the main event at this laid-back spot in north Greenpoint. Good for a date or a light bite. You're gonna be tempted, but I don't recommend the cheese fries.
- Monica MoralesAugust 8, 2013There is no air conditioning inside, but the decor makes it worth your while. If the crowd is exuding too much body heat, try the tables outside. Perfect for a date &/or catching up with friends.
- Stewart CampbellAugust 13, 2018Remains one of my favorite bar/restaurant setups. Friendly staff, good burger, great people watching
- Fodor's TravelSeptember 9, 2015Small plates change frequently, but the grass-fed beef cheeseburger is a constant and there's always a seasonal open-face tartine. Read more
- Their burger is no joke. I haven't been that pleasantly surprised by a burger in a very very very long time.
- WyngspanJanuary 27, 2014Great cocktails in a wonderful neighborhood. Help spread the word with a trust rating:
http://bit.ly/1aXVloC - Order a few oysters, a cheeseburger and an old fashioned.
- The best neighborhood bar. Love, someone who doesn't even live in Greenpoint
- LillianMarch 30, 2014Officially declaring Alameda's burger as the best in NYC. Complete package that results in perfection.
- Daniel L.July 5, 2013With a limited choice of burger joints in Greenpoint, this is a great destination with friends.
