One of the best coffee places in the area. Lavender lattes and almond croissants are the best.
Luciano is the best waiter for breakfast!! Be sure to order the chocolate chip pancakes from him and ask for whipped cream!!
Lots of great pastries and breads! Can be pricy! All of the food is very good, both sweet and savory.
Great drink menu, good wine and draft selection, porch out back, cheese olives pickles THIS PLACE HAS IT ALL!
My favorite post-Broadway tradition! The classic cheesecake is the way to go. I've also had the matzoh ball soup and beef goulash which are good bang for your buck.
Perfect dive bar that represents everything I love about the East Village. Mix of local, national and international beers and decent whiskey selection. Great atmosphere and great place to drink.
Great value and options, as well as pre-packaged meal sets. The kimchi isn't the best... And rice is an extra $1. But it's casual, fast, and good for trying lots of types of Korean food!
I grew up going to this zoo and was able to bring my daughter ( who was not raised in NY). The zoo is huge so be prepared to walk and I would suggest packing a lunch.
