To me Aarhus used to fall a bit between two chairs, stuck between close-by Aalborg and looked over when I wanted to go to Copenhagen. Now the craft beer scene demands I give Aarhus more attention!
Mejlgade 24 (Sankt Olufs Gade), Århus, Region Midtjylland
Hookah Bar · Latinerkvarteret · 18 tips and reviews
Morten Aastad: A lovely "ramshackle" kind of place. Lot of soul, real local people, students. Often have beer from Ebeltoft it seems. Good place, good people. Quick "warning" smoking is allowed, so now you know.
Morten Aastad: Every growing, Mikkeller finally found a place outside Copenhagen in Denmark, and the bar in Aarhus is a splendid addition. Great looking and with a really nice young enthusiastic staff.
Morten Aastad: Mikkeller Bottle Shop moved February 8th 2018 to a shop next to the Mikkeller Bar in Jægergårdsgade. More when they add a check-in space here in Foursquare.
Morten Aastad: If you need a German fix while you're in Aarhus, this is the place. But it is very heavy on the "night out crowd" so don't expect to find beer geeks here.
Morten Aastad: Another lovely addition to the Aarhus craftbeer scene. Here you get Danish beers from the owners own Gamma and his partners who brew Ølsnedkeren. This is the kind of bar you will return to.
