Finn Brose: This is a must-visit restaurant when in Hanoi!Food is great and the service is excellent.Small open kitchens at the side of the restaurant prepare authentic vietnamese food. Lovely atmosphere.
Jas: Take the 1h30 boat tour and enjoy the beautiful sceneries. There are 3 caves on the way. End of afternoon is very quiet. 130.000 VND per person (june 2014)
Jas: Try on the roasted goat, Tam Coc specialty, they serve it with rice paper to roll yourself and a very good sauce. However goat spring rolls have a strong taste, not for everyone.

Jas: Take water, hat and suncream, climb the 486 stairs and enjoy te beautiful view on the terrestrial Halong bay, river and ricefields. Not to be missed!
Jas: Although the lady here was not very polite, I would recommend the 1 day tour in Lan Ha and Halong Bay: very well organized, nice kayak tour, many food for lunch and the guide spoke very good English.
