Dubie Bacino: Where is the funicular??? Only mini bus is going, and it has a crazy schedule, always have to wait 15 min before it leaves the station. Better walk to town if you are in a hurry!
Amy Lynn: Don't waste your time or money on their color match system, it doesn't work. Just use your eyes and save the stress and anger of it not matching.

Pam Rumer: Walk to view the falls is described as fairly easy and about a 1/2 mile. To get up close and personal to falls we were told that it's about a mile or so and you need to climb the rocks and boulders.
Pam Rumer: Large warm homemade cookies seem to be a big favorite here. People are carrying trays of them out. Milk shakes are popular too. Server is making fresh coffee for us. :) Outside seating on veranda too.
Pam Rumer: Most people order to go. Hot or cold drinks, hot dogs, corn dogs, fries, salad, milk shakes, ice cream, cookies, churro, nachos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, hot pretzels, etc. Reasonable.
Pam Rumer: Trash containers they use here are meant to be "bear proof," as trash thrown in doesn't come out the same way. They call them "bear cans" instead of "trash cans."
Pam Rumer: Beauty in every direction. Lots of nature lovers. Many signs to watch for flash floods, mud slides, rock slides. Preserve, so no removal of any natural materials.
Pam Rumer: The turn-in is immediately past Fallsvale School. You'll miss it every time if you are watching the scenery. :) they have a community message board in the window (tacked paper notes).

Pam Rumer: Through the windows saw lots of paintings of wildlife and scenery. In front of building small table and chair set decorated with painted cracked pottery pieces (various designs).
Pam Rumer: This is a beautiful old stone building. It needs restoration. It is behind a fence with barbed wire at the top. The windows are all boarded up. Roof needs replacing. Restoration fund?
Pam Rumer: Lots of trails, marked easy, medium and difficult. Some buildings made with logs; some with stone. Enjoy nature, relax, take photos, observe flora & fauna. Watch out for bears and mountain lions.
