Tom: If it's not raining and not very cold this place has great atmosphere and good food (and space heaters). It does tend to get packed.
Tom: This is modern Israeli food, which means it's the local galile cuisine which I like a lot. I can't remember what I had, but I mighthe quint have left a tip
Tom: I think you have got to eat here at least once. It's the quintessential humus place. It will be very crowded on Friday, they only serve humus, pitas, and soft drinks. Try the masabacha. They also have another bigger branch nearby.
Tom: Excellent brunch if you end up in the Harbor in the morning because you have to entertain a toddler
Tom: Not very close to you, and is actually right by Ha'achim restaurant, but if you are in the area and want a quick but very very good street food, this is an excellent choice.
Tom: I know it's weird that I would recommend a Thai place, but this place is unique even by NYC standards. It's also not Kosher (obviously) so check the menu ahead :-)
Tom: I randomly added this branch, but they have many others. You should have gelato while in Israel because it's so much better than in NYC
