1. Taquería Los Cocuyos
Zach Klein: Probably my favorite taco in DF – rare cuts of meat.
2. Cicatriz
Zach Klein: Cafe founded by Court's high school classmate. We loved the vibe.
3. El Vilsito
Zach Klein: Taco place in an old auto garage, been there for more than 40 years. Idan's favorite taco in DF. Late night place.
4. Panadería Rosetta
Zach Klein: Bakery popular with expats.
5. Anthropology Museum of México
6. Mercado de la Merced
Zach Klein: *The* big market in DF. Locals were sometimes unwelcoming and harassing. I was pickpocketed on the way out. Go with a guide!
7. Soumaya Museum
8. Casa del Fuego
Zach Klein: Excellent breakfast and coffee.
9. Ryo Kan
Zach Klein: Japanese hotel, onsen on the roof. When you onsen, the staff will fetch beer for you if you ask.
10. Le Tachinomi Desu
Zach Klein: "Standing Room Only" Japanese bar with an excellent bar food menu.
11. Molino El Pujol
Zach Klein: A new take-out place from the owners of El Pujol. Highly recommended.
12. Mercado de San Juan
Zach Klein: A market for obscure meats. Be sure to try the chapulines in the Oaxacan stall.
13. Amaya
Zach Klein: Bougey, decent cocktails, only really worth it if you're looking for a change from street food and need a refined meal.
14. Café Paraíso
15. Mercado Melchor Ocampo (Medellín)
Zach Klein: Look for the women making blue corn gorditas outside on the corner. The best.
