J DruniOctober 18, 2016Rent a bike in Amsterdam, get on the train (15min) towards Uitgeest. Get off at Koog-Zaandijk station and pedal your way to this amazing site!
In the summer months, you can cross the river Zaan with a small ferry. It shuttles between Zaandijkersluis (Lagedijk, Zaandijk) and the windmill Bonte Hen on the Zaanse Schans.

First Albert Heijn supermarket, making of wooden shoes and cheese. Visit one of the windmills located in a typical Dutch scenery. A must see.
