Last place open in Colchester at night so always good for a late one, but when it isn't as busy earlier in its a nice place to chill and play some pool on the tables upstairs.
Delicious food and great value for money. The atmosphere is lovely as well so a great place to have a nice relaxing meal on a Sunday before the week ahead.

Tasty food, lovely coffees & hot chocolates, view over High Street and wow the staff! Recommend the hot savoury tartlets with side salad.
A delightful town - my home town - with a Roman wall circling the old city, & a Norman Castle surrounded by a park. History includes saxon Holy Trinity church and victorian Town Hall (both pictured).
A well stocked bookshop on two levels, with helpful staff; worth getting a Waterstones card to earn points to use on future purchases.
Extensive remains of ancient priority just outside town walls, close to Colchester Town rail station
(most recent visit 24/12/2016) A very good store but do make sure that deals do get recognised at the till. They are pretty good at correcting errors without a drama.
A magnificent coffee shop to relax in with lovely staff, great ambience, tasty coffee and food. Highly recommended.

It's basically a row of bus stops in Osborne Street and Stanwell Street .. the 2nd includes fast 250 National Express coach to Stansted Airport (pre-book online) and slower 133 bus.

Strong competitor with the Raj Palace for best Indian restaurant in Colchester. A very attentive and friendly team running this. A great meal.

I had to queue up bcoz of this coronavirus epidemic but didn’t have to wait to long, to go in the store. Once inside I was greeted by the manager for waiting for which was nice of him
It will be a lovely place once it gets a makeover from the landscape gardeners. A few quacking duckies along the way.
You can always ask for white eggs on toast. It's as good and tastes as good. Ask for avocado on the side
