Luke MooneyNovember 15, 2013By far, my favorite dark little bar in AZ. Cheap drinks and great live, local music with a very relaxed atmosphere. The bartender is an expert at pouring Guiness. $2 PBR doesn't hurt either.
Mary is the best! Opens early, comfortable dive bar to nurse a hangover in. Although primarily considered a music venue, the food here is worth coming for alone. Street style bar food with a Korean fusion. Yeah.

THEY HAVE A NEW MENU! And it's not just pizza. I tried the wings and cheese sticks. Not bad. They have alot more selections now. Basic bar food but salads and soups too! Yay!

This place rocks! ZERO attitude whatsoever, if you want to drink and know that the guy next to you probably has done some hard time. This is the place. ;) Not for the faint of heart.

- One of the last good venues for live music in Tempe. No cover and great food.
I forgot how much I dislike the DJ set up when trying to find a place to chill between bands. Need earplugs in both sides of the Yucca.

Great place to hang, although it's a little loud sometimes...
Great open mic, but get there early (7pm) to make the list. It fills up fast & they don't let just anyone call in for their spot.

No longer cash only. The new addition accepts credit cards and also serves food and has over 100 bottled beers. The old half is still cash only. An ATM is located in the bar.- It used to be great having two sides to the Yucca so you could get away from the bands and talk to friends if you wanted...now there are stupid dj's on the other side. Yuck.
The old side will take credit or debit now. Yucca tap room is growing as a bar!
The main room is typically chilly, so bring a sweater!
