    Home to Half Dome, Sequoias, & gorgeous waterfalls, this area is unbelievable! You truly must take a day to hike and tour this national park!

    Beautiful place. Unfortunately everything was dried out after the warm summer, so we didn’t see waterfalls or animals.

    Check out the Grocery store / Gift Shop in Yosemite Village. Basically, everything you could ever need is here and it's affordable.

    Always a great time whether its camping, sight seeing or hiking. I recommend going to the Tioga Pass for the best hiking spots

    If you go during a holiday be prepared to wait in a long line to get in. There’s also a lot of traffic to get to see El Capitan.

    Come early! Traffic is tough on weekends. Valley is worth a stop especially if you have kids but there is so much more.

    Many hikes are along water so I'd suggest carrying only one water bottle & a filter for refilling on your breathing breaks. Works great!

    Drive slow!! We were amazed at how many people were speeding around the valley...16 bears killed already this year, mostly cubs!

    Hwy 120 is open this winter! Check out some hikes from Tuolumne Meadows area. Be warned, the only bathrooms unlocked up here are near Lembert Dome parking lot.

    If you attempt to hike the Mist Trail up to Half-Dome, invest in some of the ski pole walking sticks. I made it to the top, but about half way there I was wishing I had some of those ski poles.

    If you drive here via hwy 120, take Old Priest Grade as an alternative to avoid the most curvy and slow part of 120.
