Taking the trail from Yosemite Creek to the Falls is fantastic! It's about 18 miles for an out & back. Be prepared to take lots of water & prepare your climbing legs - about 2700 ft of vertical gain!
A hike along the Gaylor LakesTrail offers possible encounters with some wonderful critters: the pika and the annual spring love songs of the Yosemite toad and Pacific chorus frogs. -Beth Pratt (NWF)

The place is amazing. The waterfalls and the huge granite rocks are a pleasure to watch. Make sure that you spend atleast 2 full days here so that there is enough time to explore the entire park.
This place is heaven on earth…we spent 7 days in Yosemite and it did not disappoint. Go in off peak times (November) and you practically have all trails and the park to yourself 🌲
Top of half dome is breathtaking! Great views from Nevada Falls as well. Hike up the John Muir trail for an easier hike or the Mist trail for a more challenging hike towards the start of halfdome.
This is one of the most amazing places I have ever been! The nature, the scenery.. It's incredible.. If u ever have the opportunity to go, you definitely should!
One of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen! Fantastic! If you are coming from San Francisco, enter using the 120 and go back using 140. Both have amazing views!
Don't do the mistake and drive up there by car. We did the hike to glacier point and it was insanely beautiful!!! It's a fairly easy trail with awesome views <3
Yosemite fall is one of the highest waterfalls in the world. The High Sierra Loop trail a hike to Vernal falls is one of best hike I had. Just prepare your leg muscles going all the way to the top. :)
What's not to love about Yosemite? Anyone living in the Bay Area should make a weekend trip (if not longer), drive down one morning, hike that day and the next morning, drive back. Too cool to miss.
Plan before you go and get familiar with how to get to the places you'd like to hike to. Oh and try to stay more than a day. It's so big and if you really want to relax and enjoy you gotta take time.
Incredible. Lodging, food, history, views, fresh air, friendly rangers. All ages friendly. One short, quick and easy hike to Sentinel Dome and change your life forever.
If you are a first time visitor, the number of sights you need to see are endless, but if you are there for a short period of time, Glacier Point is a must see! You can see all major land marks!!!
A buddy and I did a one day 20 miles RT hike from Glacier Point to the top of Half Dome.He said it usually a three day hike, but we did it in 14 hrs, could've been faster but I was dying & needed rest

Can't do everything in 1 day, we started at Mariposa Grove at 9am, then Tunnel View, Bridalveil, Lower Yosemite Falls, SwingingBridge, hiked Taft point and sentinel dome and then glacier point for SS
A bud & I did a hike from Glacier Pt to Half Dome in 1 day (18 hrs). My bud could have done it faster, but I was dying on the way back. This was a few years back, next time it'll be a 3 day hike.
A delightful natural experience. Many places in Muir College at University of California San Diego are named after places in Yosemite in honor of John Muir.
Check out the Dewey's Point hike off Glacier Park Rd. it's a great 8 mile round trip hike through valleys and woods with an awe inspiring vista at the end.
In the summer, make the effort to start your hike early! You miss the crowds & high temps later on! You'll be so glad when you're coming down and ppl are just starting! Bring more H2O than you need!!!
