Yoder’s is a Sarasota institution, located in the heart of the Mennonite section of town. They offer excellent breakfast deals, most are under $6.00. Try their homemade pies or take one home. Read more

Everything! Had the chopped steak with fries and cole slaw. The chopped steak tasted like steak not a fancy burger. I go once a week, and never go wrong. Stay away from the deserts they are addictive.

The food is amazing. Amish cooking at a great price with large portion sizes. If you have a small appetite start with desert first. The rubarb & stawberry and apple pies are great.

This is as close to great home cooking away from home as you can get! Very reasonably priced and save room for dessert. The pies are out of this world!

My favorite is the beefsteak w/mashed potatoes & gravy and carrot salad. The strawberry rhubarb pie is to die for. Food here never ever disappoints!!

Everything is good. Fresh made on premises from salad dressings to pies. My favorite is the Butterscotch banana cream pie. Sooo good.

All the entrees are delicious. They have a well deserved reputation for awesome desserts. An elderly Mr Yoder functions as a door ban when the restaurant is busy.

Come hungry, prepare to wait in line. Fairly authentic Amish ladies (who all seem to favor Reeboks) will bring you piles of prime comfort food. Marvel at the Amish chick-flick books by the entrance!

Fried chicken and Amish noodles are really good. The mashed potatoes and gravy are also really good. DH did not care for the Amish potato pancakes

A central gathering point for Sarasota's Amish population (yes). Come hungry, as plates of meat loaf and apple pie are HUGE. Marvel at the Amish romance books in the shop. Who knew? Prepare to queue.

Eat like a local! You get SO much food! No reservations taken ....so either get here early or wait in line. It's totally worth the wait.

Try the southern fried steak or the fried chicken - the Yoder's sauce is great. Also save room for pie - strawberry rhubarb is amazing.

If you like pies you'll LOVE Yoders. If you can afford the calories, buy a whole pie to take with you. One of the reasons why locals call Sarasota paradise!

Have a great breskfast, quickly if you need to go and prices are low plus your plate is more than full!!! You have to have lunch or dinner here and be sure to ask for daily specials because the YODER'

Oh my.... Their pies are amazing! Had the Yoder's Key Lime & the Peanut Butter. So good. They are super creamy with mounds of fresh whipped cream!

This is a family-owned Amish restaurant, marketplace, etc. The food portions are supposed to be HUGE and they are rumored to have the best pie on the planet. Sign me up!
