Classic English dive pub. Mixed crowd of Cinco de Mayo revelers on the day I visited (yes, that is odd) but assume from the fairlyfriendly staff that it's usually a bit more low-key in this pub.
My favourite bar in Santa Monica. You go if you want to get a beer and thats all. No fancy people. I always end up here! Also they have a jukebox - a song for a dollar <3. Karaoke Sundays are fun too!
Congrats to Ye Olde Kinds Head for passing their CleanBayRestaurant Certification in Santa Monica! They're doing their part to keep the Santa Monica Bayclean! Learn more: www.santamonicabay.org
OMG, proper breakfast with toast that's not been dipped, spreaded or covered in something sweet!! No fruit piled on either. Just breakfast as it should be. Thank You

The service was very minimal, and only somewhat friendly. I had their crumpets, which seems quite good. I also had the fish cakes, which were nicely soft on the inside and crispy on the outside
If you like beers that come out of taps, liquor and solid prices then you can't go wrong here. Don't expect any fancy cocktails, just shut up and drink.
The fried bread is amazing....at first glance it just looks like toast but when you bite into the crispy bread the crunch will bring acknowledgement that it was definitely fried!!!
I think for being so close to lots of touristy areas this place is ok. They apparently have mulled wine during the holidays which gives them points in my book.
For all you ding dongs that don't know how to eat fish n chips....squeeze lemon and vinegar on yer fish then get some tartar sauce and slather it on your bite.
