A solid beer selection for a sports bar, with local options like Empire IPA in the mix. The grub is tasty, too, especially the five-cheese mac with chorizo and the pressed ham-and-Gruyere croissant. Read more
Cool efficient little bar. Been by for soccer, which really gets crowds, so I've done the beers and sliders. Tonight, tried something else with my $4 draft. Truffle Mac and cheese: so creamy, so Gouda
Best Bar to Watch Sports: not for large groups unless you can get there early. But the staff is accommodating, have a million beers, and a F*ckit Bucket (6 cans for $15) and beer/shot deal ($7)
5 screens and a sneaky sophisticated food menu for a sports bar. Especially good for soccer or for drinking a pint while waiting for your table at Chuko across the street.
Soccer fans rejoice! Fabulous bar in Brooklyn that is big on European soccer. Get here early before the games if you want a seat! Help spread the word with a trust rating: http://bit.ly/1hsKwfn
I've been there for a Champions League match midweek afternoon with lots of people from all over the soccer planet. I really enjoyed it there. Try the Brooklyn Defender!
Food is a little pricey ($9 for a grilled cheese sandwich + ham) but the ambience is good, and they have the wherewithal to show MLS games (seem to have MLS Live) which is pretty rare in New York.
Even if you don't think you'll like it try the pickle back! It's delicious. So is the food--especially the pork sliders and Mac and cheese (add meat!).
Add Portuguese chorizo to the truffle mac and cheese. It's rich and therefore satisfying so you can share and still get your fill. Malbec, $3 beers $5/$6 cans. Something for everyone.
The bar and tables are made from 150-year-old wood, while the menu includes affordable beers and snacks like hand-made pretzels, mac and cheese, pickled vegetables, and charcuterie. Sports included.
They love their European soccer here. If you're coming for a game, get here early and try the waffles. Great drinks and great food - you can't go wrong!
Great spot to watch soccer from all over the world. Owner is an Arsenal fan (smart man), and the NY Redbull fans in BK can be found here (more smart folks!). Go there! The foods good too.
The F*** It Bucket is a great deal, and the beer/shot specials are too. The food is also solid, despite the limited kitchen. If you like chorizo get a Portugal sandwich.
7.5 times out 10 this place is one of the best spots in prospect heights. Seen an occasional duck game there and good luck getting in for a futbol match. Other 2.5 times either hot, crowded or loud.
Love this place! Great place to pop in have a couple beers, shot, and sandwich. There's some crazy b here right now going nuts on someone on her cell though. That's the only non-awesome thing.
The #Macandcheese was delicious. customer service not so much. One of the bartenders made no effort to help out and was more interested in talking to his friends at the end of the bar.
Located in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Soccer plays seven days a week on 3 50-inch high-definition televisions. Woodwork is an official pub of the NY Red Bulls and MLS!
Go to this sexy soccer bar. Ask Chef Ross for a cinnamon biscuit. Check out the recycled wood bar and enjoy the atmosphere without anyone shouting goal! Top off your meal with a glass of vino. Read more
