Great bar snacks like soft pretzels and fried pickles. Try one of the craft beers on draft - my favorite is Abita Purple Haze.

The closest I have felt to home/Philly since I moved here. Great bar, great service, great food. They make their own bread, soft pretzels and cinnamon rolls. Go here now.

Cheer on the Eagles while getting your fill of wings. Mondays are wing nights, the bar offers half-off its selection of wings from 8 p.m. to midnight. Read more

Solid neighborhood sports bar. Unpretentious in a way that's hard to find in NYC without sacrificing quality.

By far the best neighborhood spot in NYC. Even as a Mets fan in a Philly bar, SO welcoming. Also best hot sauce on earth and no draft beer over $5!

Great wings and waffle fries are a must. Alas, the days of the $3 Yuenglings are behind us (unless it's happy hour!). They now have two beer sizes-- SM for $4, LG for $6.

You're gonna want double meat, double wiz with onions, its just the way to go. Waffle cheese fries (more wiz) are also amazing.

    4. DRINK LESS. Guzzle Wogies' all-day $3 Bud Lite & Yuengling, and $3 draft beers at happy hour before 8pm. And while you're there, why not grab their famous Philly cheesteaks and wings? Why not. Read more

One of the best cheesesteaks I've had in NYC. This is coming from someone who lived in Philly for many years.

If the need for yet another cheesesteak hits you while you happen to be in the big apple, try Wogie's, a true Philly establishment in NY's West Village

The cheesesteaks are popular, but try Adrian’s Atomic Avalanche ($9.75) instead. It begins as a typical cheesesteak, but is topped with pepperoni, hot peppers, fried mozzarella balls & marinara sauce. Read more

The best place to watch Philly sports in Manhattan. Call ahead to reserve a table for the game. Krazy wings = habanero sauce, proceed with caution.
