Head to the roof and enjoy the cocktails/views. Better in the warmer months, but it's still a nice (and heated) view during the other times of the year. Try the Marion Berry ;)
The hotel's rooftop terrace provides some of the best views of the White House. Sit on the main lobby's red patent-leather chairs and zebra-print ottomans, where DJs spin house music on weekends. Read more
Head to the rooftop and enjoy the view and upscale atmosphere. More fun when it's warm out, but it's still a wonderful atmosphere (and heated) during fall/winter!
The elevators have three different images of Washington & Martha being very flirtatious in courtship and their lobby is ultra chic! The Bliss employees downstairs are super sweet as well.
I stay here a lot and in general I like it, the rooms are fine the gym is good, the bars and food are also good. Only problem I find is the turnover in staff, very few seem to stick around for long.
One of the most stunning W hotels we have stayed in! No cool pool running through it, but the historic value is there. Very well kept & staff is friendly!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
At very least get a spectacular room w/ exterior view. Great location. Downstairs always filled with people. Staff mostly friendly, helpful. Biz center was a bummer while I was there👎 No paper 2x!!😒
The rooftop views are incredible especially at night. It gets a little crowed at night but the atmosphere is very urban chic. The rooms are small but the location is great.
A great scene, but make sure you're not placed any higher than the eighth floor, otherwise you'll be hearing the bass from the superb rooftop bar all night long!
With a sceney rooftop lounge overlooking the White House, the W brand managed to inject nightclub-meets-Wonderland flair into what had been a lackluster hotel.
Check out the Rooftop Bar. Amazing view of the skyline and White House. Drink selection is OK, but the atmosphere is chic and mucho swank-a-licious! Business types of all kinds come here to unwind!
Stay here and attend IT Roadmap Washington, D.C. - a regional one-day technology event that features a full-day conference program, and an expo.http://www.itroadmap.net/WashDC2011
To get in the door, say you only want to get to the lobby bar. Then get yourself a drink, enjoy the music and wait in the line to go up to the POV lounge. (The view is amazing!)
