Alternative baristas serving perfect Macchiatos in East Village. Expect a modern style , chill environment interrupted by the steady flow of young urban professionals and NYU caffeine cravers.
Nice spot to just relax and catch up. Good coffee, live music on Friday nights. They also have a special if you buy a bottle of wine you get 6 cheese bread
A daytime coffee shop, nighttime bar, Wayside brings a wifi workspace, Intelligentsia Coffee and eclectic quality snack plates to the East Village. Try the pan de quejio - 3 for $2.
Wayside's coffee is great, its staff is friendly and attentive, and it's nice to hear Spanish music over the loudspeakers. There's free wifi but it isn't a good place to work if you need space
Best cheese bread ever. EVER. They chrun them out throughout the day and if you're lucky, you'll be there right when the cheesy balls come out of the oven.
The Intelligentsia espresso needs a little work, but from 11am-4pm, before it turns into a bar, there's free wifi and good snacks, pastries & savory food.
Very open and bright space but the soy latte I had was very weak and watery tasting. Hopefully things pick up and change as they ease into the new digs.
Wayside is a cafe in the East Village serving Intelligentsia coffee, a wide variety of sandwiches and salads and a selection of specialty beers and wines.
