Don't judge a book by its cover. Not the best first impression but there's beauty in the smaller details: free WiFi, convenient location, free bottled water & friendly staff. Highly recommended!
I am very satisfied with WPH, it is very well located and with all possible comfort that you may need. Room is clean and neat, plus free wifi, nice lounge and a swimming pool. Staff is excellent.
Great location, near 3 metro stations and walking distance to the White House. Friendly front desk and door staff. Try to get a room overlooking the pool and Thomas Circle. Free bottled water- yes
I really liked this hotel. Friendly people. Check in and out, a breeze. You get complementary Washington Post in the morning (by the elevators). Location is great, close to a Whole Foods
After making this a home away from home this month, the staff have been amazing, in making me feel comfortable, I especially love the bottle water and nightly turn down service I'll def be back!
What a gorgeous hotel. It felt like an episode out of Mad Men (in a good way). Every important detail was exquisite. From the bed and pillows to the faucet and shower head.
Try to get street parking & save where you can.the hotel has a great location, close to everything & the rooms are nice & spacious. Staff was super friendly.
Very Good hotel! Stafffriendly, free and good wifi, good restaurant and near everything. Next time, if it is summer, I will try the pool. Looks nice. :)
Really good hotel! The first impression of the room is not positive but then you see the small particulars that makes the difference: a free copy of the Washington post, two bottles of water for free.
Excellent hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice location near a subway station or a 10 minute walk to the national mall. It's the place o stay in D.C. 5 stars!!
Modest lobby and exterior. Rooms are very nice and clean. Suites are much nicer than the standard rooms, has two bathrooms and two TVs, worth the $60 upgrade.
The hotel is quite dated plus we stayed in a room where we had a very strong smell of someone smoking pot all night long. It must have been in a room close by as the smell was coming from the door
If you pay cash for parking, attendants will only charge you $10. Just beep your horn and they'll come and take your cash and let you out of he garage.
The staff and the hotel is great. My one and only complaint would be the paper thin walls and doors. We could hear everything occuring out in the hallway.
The Washington Plaza Hotel has a great Sunday buffet, something you won't find mentioned on its website. Most especially if you have a sweet tooth... Read more
