Gorilla trekking is magical. There's really no way to adequately describe how incredible the experience is. If you can afford it, do 2 treks. No two experiences are alike.

As well organized as any national park in the world! Lots of thought has been put into keeping operations sustainable and deterring poaching... seems to be working; there are apparently now up to 800!

The park is currently offering up to $450 discount on the gorilla trekking permits for tourists who have 3 park permits for other activities
