    a place that must be visited in Amsterdam not only 100s of Van Gogh , you can also enjoy some Gaugin,Monet,Picarro,Angrand etc. Buy tickets from museum shop 100m away not to wait.

    Be sure to get the audio, it's worth the extra 5€. Very informative and you even get messages from Van Gogh during it where you can read some of his letters.

    Mix of art gallery and biography is a superb solution. I was expecting to see gallery of Van Gogh's paintings but actually I also learned numerous facts of his life story. Definitely worth a visit.

    Amazing museum with lotsa art pieces and things owned by Vincent and his family.. really enjoyed t. Better buy tickets online in advance and if you couldn’t try the museum shop even if it’s sold out

    Amazing museum even for those who do not love them. Each section is telekonference a story about certain period od Van Gogh’s life and it is really well put together. Get the audio guide!

    If you're interested in Van Gogh life and works then you have to visit this museum. Recommend to take the interactive audio guide. By the way, if you're less than 18 y.o., so the entrance is free!

    Don't come here expecting to see "Starry Night" (you won't). Come here for a deep dive into Van Gogh and a top-notch audio tour of the museum. Check out the special exhibits and gain a new perspective

    Take your time, if possible take a multimedia guide. Read about Van Gogh paintings before you go. Sunflowers, lovers, irises, almond blossoms, potato eaters are must see. Starry night is not here.

    Must see museum! The audio guide is worth the 5€ and they have a kid's treasure hunt with a small prize at the end...made my 7 year old incredibly happy and learned about Van Gogh in the process!

    Everything is great with the museum. The building is chronologically designed and makes great sense. You can learn Van Gogh's story and see many spectacular work of him. Must see when in Amsterdam!

    Huge exhibition with lots of info about Gogh and also exhibiting other artists that inspired, or were inspired by, him. The museum also has a letter collection which gives an insight into his life.

    The way this museum presents Van Gogh's lifetime work showcases impressive storytelling. Learned a lot during my visit. Make sure to give it at least 3 hours &book ahead to avoid waiting in line.

    Book tickets online in advance and you can skip the queue. Allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the works, not just the most popular, but you can still get through in 2 hours or less.

    Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The audio guide is worth every penny. Lockers are free and you can take your time looking at the paintings. Must do in Amsterdam!

    Utterly amazing. It would be a mistake to visit Amsterdam and not see this Museum. Four floors of one of the most famous artists of all times beautiful work. Definitely worth going to.

    Book in advance to skip the line. You’ll get a time slot of 30 minutes in which you can enter. Audio guide is well worth it’s money; you’ll learn much more about Vincent and his paintings.

    Interesting museum of van Gogh's work.The storytelling gives you an understanding of the artist's psychosynthesis.The audio guide is worth buying.It can be very crowded so be prepared for long queues.

    Get the audio guide and book a time in advance; this is one of my favorite museums because it takes you through the evolution of Van Gogh's life as painter rather than individual, unrelated paintings

    Wonderful collection, not terribly large but big enough to keep you occupied for at least an hour. Go after three, purchase ticket online. Coffee shop beforehand and park afterwards recommended too

    Amazing place. Very interesting painting workshop with profesional and kind artist. You can pick your picture to home. Really good distribution in general. Sadly I must leave before the concerts.

    We visited the museum on a Monday at 14:15 and it was really crowded. It might be worthy investigating when it’s less crowded. There’s another cloakroom in the first floor. Don’t line downstairs!

    VERY crowded, try to hit early if you want an up close view of the art. Get the museumkaart if you plan on hitting all museums in this area and almost anything else in Amsterdam that requires a ticket

    Great museum! I loved how everything was organized and related to each other. I'll definitely recommend this museum. You might want to first visit the lower floor for a short documentary on his life.

    Buy tickets in advance to avoid the line. Great collection of Van Gogh's art and the history of his life. Starry night is not here - painting is located in MoMA in New York.

    Had to queue for 2 hrs with a ticket purchased online at the Canal Tour company's site 😁 along with all other ticket holders just to realize that the ticket on iPad won't be accepted, need print out!

    Absolutely beautiful museum. A lot of focus is on Van Gogh's process, how he painted over canvasses, on top of other paintings; you can literally view his brushstrokes under a microscope! loved it.

    This museum houses the world’s largest Van Gogh art collection. A must see when you visit Amsterdam. I personally like his way of painting landscapes.
