Val: The corn soup IS to die for. Get the large, but instead of sharing it with a friend, share it with a stranger! I bought 2 large soups and left 1 suspended for someone in need. Try it sometime.

Val: Now all vegetarian (again) and very vegan-friendly menu. Closed Sundays. Avoid the counter food. Sit down and order a fresh dosa off the menu. You won't be disappointed!

Val: Raw and cooked menu + they do brunch. Get something with guacamole if you can. It's heavenly! The desserts are also excellent. Try the sundae or the joe louis.

Val: Sometimes they really knock it out of the park with the specials and soups. The drumsticks are also really good but expensive. The mains tend to be salty and overpriced.

Val: In a sea of greasy fastfood joints, this Urban Herbivore is an oasis of healthy, tasty food w/ a vegan cupcake on top. I recommend the grain bowl on rice, the bbq tofu sandwich or the curry.

Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant · Kensington Market · 29 tips and reviews
Val: A solid choice if Greens is closed or you want a nicer presentation for a Kensington market meal. The space is quiet, clean, service is good, but it's a little more $$ compared to Greens and Buddha's.
Val: Tori's new Canary District cafe. Unfortunately, there were significant delays opening and all the hype had worn off. Nevertheless, you don't have to travel so far east to enjoy their delicious treats.
Val: This place used to serve an amazing burger but they did away their evening menu. They might still do brunch, which was pretty great but the atmosphere is dive and grungy.

Tania M Pollok: <3 this place! Try the PB-Bacon Burger, Mac'n'Cheese Balls, fried Oreos. Fries might've been the best I've ever had. Great service! Music's a little loud, u smell like fries after, it's all worth it!
