Beautiful and compact historic town overlooking the Murtensee. As most shops are open on Sunday too - don't go on a Monday (90% of Murten is closed!)

Lovely medieval city. Everyone passing nearby should pay a visit. Don't miss the city walls.

Beautiful old city but the wall can be closed on national holidays. Can be very touristy.
