The food was excellent, the cheese board for desert is outstanding, very knowledgable staff, good wine recommendation. Decor is a bit dated in the dining room and the service was a little slow

The spa and food were amazing. Very modern spa with great staff. Our evening meal in the restaurant was beautiful and they sell a great range of wines, including English. The bed was uncomfortable.

Restaurant: the 5 course or 8 course taster menu shows why this place has had a Michelin rating for 11 years. Wonderful way to celebrate anything...

Hotel: older building is lovely though rooms are a bit higgeldy piggeldy. The spa suites are fantastic and perfect if you are also having spa treatments.

Spa: good facility with pools, saunas... A good choice of treatments..very willing staff and if she's available ask for Martine...she's a great masseuse.

Nice hotel, management was a bit rude, however rest of the staff were fantastic. As well, do not order poached eggs as the chef doesn't know you should never overcook them.

Lunch menu only £19.95 for 2 courses! Always have coffee in the lounge.
