Restaurant and staff are wonderful. Gift shop has lots of unique items. The museum has lots of artifacts and structures, with their personal stories of ownership. Thank you for all your hard work!

The cafe is like eating at your grandmother's house. They have a different special for lunch everyday. Choose one meat, two sides for $6.99.

Love this historical and informational environment! A most special component of this site is the focus on the human story. Felt like we met some of these families through the stories that were told.

Definitely a lot of history to see and read about inside and outside. Pick a clear dry day to truly experience the environment. Also, I recommend having lunch in the cafe while you are there.

It was interesting to see the "Dan' Boone" and Mark Twain Family cabins. Very impressed how things are displayed.

Check out the Revolutionary-era exhibit, including a copper bleeding bowl and a Sevier-family Bible printed in 1571. Live music, too!
