The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer is the property of the Evangelical Jerusalem Foundation and houses congregations that pray in four languages – Arabic, German, Danish and English.

Was built and personally dedicated by Kaiser Wilhelm in the late 1800s after he became one of the first western rulers to visit Jerusalem.

The Muristan served as the headquarters for the Knights of St. John, where members of the order nursed patients in the complex’s hospital.
