The best airport in the country in terms of everything. Great infrastructure, gud washrooms, superb cafes. Also it is a silent airport and no announcements since everything is self explanatory.
Have to say this has got many more commercial food joints over the years. My heart goes out to Hatti Kapil though. This small joint serves one of the best filter coffee. And there are others too.
Cafe noir just outside the departure gate offers the best option in hot fresh french and italian meals. Soup of the day is a must try. Fresh pasta , lasagna is awesome. Lil expensive tho.
Christmas 2018 had the brand new food court opened to public and its absolutely amazing with great decor and new brands. Also have a flea market setup with local artisans and merchandise.

Lks lk 1 of the green 1ce..Overall a nice airport..dh Subways & Baskin & Robbins,& great place to shop, major brands available..Nice bus serve..Boarding gates will shut around 30 min prior departure..
This airport is improving day by day . Now there are many check in counters for smooth flow of crowd. This is the best airport in India with respect to facilities.
I would rate BLR airport better than DEL & BOM domestic terminals anytime. Can not compare the traffic though. It is clean and neat and yes lounges are better here than BOM & DEL. Keep up the goodwork
Has to be the 3rd fanned out airport in the country after del and bom, plus the way it is being upgraded outside with IT equipped landscape for EV Motor Charging Dock and other stuff is so cool..
The coffee at the Ely cafebar is good. If you want beer and some great breakfast, head to the Time Out cafe. All food is expensive. Idly will cost you 100 bucks...WTF did you expect?
Amazing airport, flew in from Pune and was transported into a first world standard non-place, an elegant detailed place/experience that put Bangalore into my good books immediately.
Volvo buses ply from every corner of city to right inside Airport in every 20 minutes. Its very cheap, air conditioned, smooth drive, and very fast.Cab drivers harass you.Bus is the best option
The shops and restaurants at The Quad has become a hangout place for Bangaloreans. There are people who go to the airport to spend time in one of these hangout places as they are open till wee hours.
Check in atleast 80mins prior to the boarding, or you might get stuck at the security check. The officials are trying their best to regulate & control the flow of passengers.
One of busiest airport in India handling millions of passengers yearly and maintained very well. Still scope for providing recliner seats for comfort of passengers who needs to wait due to delay.
Amazing AirPort with subway , CCD .. Only advise , you will find huge rush may be 24*7 so try to reach their atleast 2 hours before departure time to make your journey comfortable .. 😊
HattiKaapi - Or Hot Coffee! Baristas and CoffeeDays can go home...this stall opposite the Arrivals gate serves perfect filter coffee all day. Try out their 'Pure Coffee' for just Rs.25!
T2 has lush greenery that brings a refreshing touch of nature indoors. The design incorporates earthy materials. vibrant digital art captivates the eye. T2 has a variety of intnl brands & restaurants.
very well developed .... huge parking ... but it costs ... far away from city but Volvo services are very good .... restaurant for food are good and well done up lounge and waiting area
There's a newspaper stand opposite to gate no 2 which has some good reading stuff. Grab one for free & enjoy news in the old fashioned way but a guy keeps roaming around to take it back when u r done!
Get free wifi 2 ways: receive a (free) SMS on your cell phone. Make sure data roaming is turned off! Second, via kiosk by scanning your passport & boarding pass. Kiosk located at baggage claim.
Just after landing at 8:30 am, I beat the traffic by getting into the city by 9:30 am. Used a BreathingRoom to get work done before my 2 pm meeting. Super productive all around!
The arrival gate and luggage belts with exit is nicely planned and makes it easier to get out. Uber pick up is 100-200mtrs away. The ACbus service for City counters are next to Uber Pick up zones.
The biggest airport ever and now they are expanding from 2 to more runways and segregating the international and domestic. Ample of things inside to pass time on
From Tarmac to baggage belt takes up to 15 mins. Please be reminded, as per rule the luggage will be available on the baggage 🧳 belt 4abt 18 mins , if not collected then please go 2baggage service
drop and pick is on the lane .. security check is on first floor. There is Shoppers stop,Barista and many other food chains. !! don't pay more to cabs... u will find some cheep cabs as well :) #enjoy
If you're getting a Visa on Arrival, get your usd 60 ready. Yes, usd. have your docs (hotel and return flightbooking) printed, along with 2 color passport photos. That will speed things up.
Remains the best domestic airport in the country. Do try "masalaomelette" at Barista if you are travelling in the morning. They also opened a smoking zone recently.
Incase u hav a long transit wait, better option to just step out of the airport n enjoy the tiny food/beverage outlets just outside, much more affordable n more choices than inside!
Only Kotak Mahindra ATMs here except for one Canara BankATM which is almost a kilometre away. Make sure you have sufficient cash in hand in case if their network gets clogged as it happened with me.
Use the free wifi to download taxi apps (Ola Cabs, Meru Taxi, Taxi For Sure - on iOS devices). Get fair prices. The "pick up now" feature on such apps allow you to pick a cab in less than 10 min.
