松江温泉の玄関口である当駅では、観光客と地元市民がふれあう縁結びの場として足湯があり24時間利用可能です。電車やバスの待ち時間に利用すれば散策の疲れも癒されます。

電車がホームに入線しても改札を開けてくれない。夏の待合室はとても暑いし、ベンチの数も足りていないこともあるので、熱中症を防ぐためにも冷房の効いた電車の中に入れて欲しい。

新しいけど冷暖房なしな上に断熱性が低いです。
