Next to seeing The Alamo, this was a highlight of my day. I was emotionally and spiritually moved by this haven of junk food, and a paradise for truckers and travelers.
I am disgusted by some of the ingredients they put in their branded food, but they also carry the most delicious cheese sticks I've had! We always stop by en route to Houston or to Austin/Round Rock.
The bathrooms are amazing. The food is GREAT, the ice cream is delicious, and the souvenirs are lovely. The staff member are amazing and polite! I love coming here.
The String Cheese sticks are amazing, as are the mini hummussnack packs (w/Pretzel Crisps!) and Good Food Should Taste Good chips! I avoid their brand foods as I'd rather not ingest HFCS, etc.
Sandwich and salads are always fresh but the meats are salty don't forget the condiments nearby. Always grab a kettle cornpopcorn for the road :) very cleanbathrooms. Kinda pricey
The shining jewel of all Texas stops. This place delivers in spades!! You MUST try any of the jerky and I've found that the made to order sandwiches are the best I've ever had!! Highly Recommended!!
This is largest quick stop I've ever seen. It's worth stopping just to gawk! Where else can you buy jerky, homemade fudge, a t-shirt and a bbq smoker on wheels in one stop?
