"sous vide pork belly" soo tender👌🏼& delicate😋 & for the ramen, get the "belly of the beast" & pls. pls. Add extra char-siu👍🏻 that way it's like gettin' a taste of 2 ramen bowl🍜
Delicious cocktails, great atmosphere and I loved the shrimpgyoza and fried chicken bun. I was not a fan of the ramen. It tasted bland, I tried the Belly of the Beast and Veggie w/chicken.
I had the Underbelly Ramen and the Belly of the Beast Ramen and they were both very tasty and loaded with Ramen and meat. Plus, the service was awesome.
Hipsterramen joint. Very friendly service and great selection of beer. Noodle was awesome and al dente. Broth is not bad but not nearly as good as Ramen Dojo in NorCal. Worth a try
Right in the heart of Little Italy is...the best Japanese comfort food in town. For ramen, it's expensive, but if there's a chill in the air you'll definitely be glad you stopped in. Read more
The ramen with the dumplings…perfect for those cold SD nights. Just watch out for those chairs outside! They’ll throw you right to the ground. Oh yeah and bring your own spoon.
Great local option if you're in the Little Ital in downtown area of San Diego. Surprisingly good, firm and chewy ramennoodles, yum. I had the oysters too but wasn't as impressed.
I'm a late night eater, so this place is perfect. Don't complain about the flies or lack of spoons, suburban folks. Put your big girl pants on and act like a downtown girl. This place is sexy.
Get the Belly of the Beast and sit outside and do some awesome people watching while you eat your amazingly delicious noodles. If you are on the hot and wild side, get the ghost pepper sauce.
Great unique design makes the #foodie experience one of the best. Have the belly of the beast ramen if you have a big appetite or want to share. It's big but DELICIOUS.
So far the flies are roaming all over, probably cause its hot but worth trying the ramen anyway. I've only had it once so excited to try the veggieramen substituted with pork broth(server suggestion)
The vegetableramen is quite possibly the best vegramen I've eaten—outside of my home. The mister really liked his oysterappetizer (w/watermelon and sake) and tonkatsu ramen.
Mushu appetizer was amazing! Negative part of my experience was inhaling the large amounts of bleach as they cleaned which made my ramen experience less than satisfactory.
Not the best ramen but pretty good (too much meat). The egg does rival that of orenchi's. That said, they have unparalleled service, since they offered to replace our ramen after a fly flew in.
