The best falafel sandwich I've ever had (for real), and it's only $2.50! Open really late too.
Another yummy "fast food" place down the block from Mamoun's. It's an Indian-style flatbread, wrapped around a fried egg and fillings such as spicy potatoes, paneer, chickpeas, chicken, beef, etc.
They don't have much for me to eat, but Katz's is a NY landmark. I've never met anyone who didn't love it.
A burger joint, so I can't recommend it personally. But again, every meat eater I know swears by it.
Delicious Tibetan food. Some of the dishes are definitely "different" if you've never had them before.
Very inventive gastropub food. If you make it out here, definitely try the foie gras donut and the whiskey and pickle juice shot.
Despite the restaurant's name, you really want to get the lobster roll here. Though all of their seafood is great.
Anything you get here will be great — brunch, lunch, or dinner. Gets pretty busy during peak times.
While Sakagura is renowned for their sake, the highlight is actually their great izakaya-style food. It's all really good.
One of the highlights in Manhattan's Koreatown. Plus, like many of their neighbors, they're open 24/7.
Great Venezuelan arepas with a lot of variety. The place is small and gets busy in the evenings.
