Good Belgian beer (on tap and bottled), Belgian frites, and a nice cozy atmosphere. One of my old hangouts :) Can be hard to find for the first time.
Another awesome craft cocktail bar. There are so many in NY, but you can't go wrong with Death & Co.
Great bartenders and cocktails. Atmosphere is refined but laid-back, though it can be random some nights. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but a good place to stop if you're in the area.
Whether you start your night at this dive bar or end it, you can't go wrong with $5 for a can of Tecate and a shot of tequila.
Very cool atmosphere, reminds me of alley bars in Japan. In addition to lots of sake, Decibel is one of the few places I've found with pickled garlic! They're at the bottom of the small stairwell.
Once again, another speakeasy bar with amazing cocktails. This one's in the back of a hot dog shop though. Half the fun is getting there!
