Favorite SD Restaurants

Trey Hunner: The Panang curry here is thick and looks almost like a cream of tomato soup. The curry at Spice's Thai is only a shadow of the curry here.

Trey Hunner: The nigiri is a great value. My favorite nigiri: salmon, eel, garlic tuna steak, seared scallops, salmon belly. Japanese donuts, sweat potato, and daifuku mochi are all great desserts.

Trey Hunner: Pho is delicious but different than most pho in SD. Foodie combination, yummy in my tummy, and chicken curry with bread are my favorite.

Trey Hunner: My favorites: ton katsu don, mabo and curry ton katsu

Trey Hunner: My favorite meals: fried chicken leg lunch box, beef noodle soup, dry beef noodles. To drink: wintermelon tea with grass jelly.

Trey Hunner: Get #1. Tendon and tripe are both very good here. Possibly best pho on Mira Mesa Blvd. No wait compared to Pho Cow Cali and comparable if not better pho. Don't come here for anything but pho though.

Trey Hunner: Ahi Nicoise and duck confit salad are two of my favorites. Pretty much everything is delicious here.

Trey Hunner: You can order the mango lassi with no sugar if you like a slightly sweet and slightly tart lassi.

Trey Hunner: The kakuni ramen is great here. Very tender pork belly.
