Definitely one the best brunch spots in Bushwick. Try the fried chicken & waffles (if you like spicy) or salmon pastrami! Also, love the cocktails and rustic decor.
Order Williamsburg's newest drink, The Switchel. It's traditional mountain soda made with house-made apple cider vinegar aged in bourbon barrels with fresh ginger and maple. Read more
Very interesting set up and woodsy vibe. Switchel is apparently the next up and coming thing and they have got it! However, I have yet to try it. I have been for brunch (awesome) and for drinks
Best meal I've had in Brooklyn. Get the switchback shot and liver pate. The fried chicken is amazing, duck fat potatoes incredible, and a must is the tongue and cheek Reuben sandwich.
Amazing food and drinks. Especially the cocktails and anything on the menu with meat. Super friendly staff as well. If you love food and drinking, you absolutely must try this place
Great rabbit terrine and best sides of potatoes ever. Duck fat + potatoes + deep frying = greatness. The cheeks Reuben is pretty great too, a little on the fatty end up but worth it!
Great-looking place with a superb casual, but interesting atmosphere. Staff is cool and friendly, and the delicious cocktails can be devoured on the bench outside.
Saturday sunny winter morning brunch, come when it opens 11am to avoid the rush. Vegetarian: roasted vegetables w two sunny side up eggs; seasonal, straight up, tasty and warming. Good Bloody Mary's!
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good drinks but brunch and dinner were a let down. Fried chicken is overpriced ($18) and overrated. And where's the mashed potatoes and mac & cheese??
I feel guilty because fact that I'm willing to pay so much for so little brunch with mediocre "rustic" presentation, means I'm supporting that it's okay to charge top dollar in Bushwick. But its good.
