Want to speed up your departure? Nothing much you can do unfortunately. But be sure to take a few extra customs forms upon arrival. Having those filled out beforehand helps... a bit.Upvoted 4 weeks ago
Tatee HassanDecember 20, 2014Arrival: Get the English custom form (2 copies) on the plane as the ones at the arrival hall are in local language; declare cash brought in. Be prepared to wait as all bags will be scanned by custom.
JDecember 26, 2015If you are a foreigner, best is to have an agency arranged visa help - they will send someone inside the restricted zone to guide you to the right places. Except zero help from the airport staff.

Get custom declarations in advance, do not forget a pen, you will desperately need it to fill out custom forms (2 copies).
- Tatee HassanDecember 20, 2014Departure: fill in 1 custom form (exit) to show cash left compared to what you brought in. Make sure you keep 1 of the custom form you filled in when you arrived earlier.
- Want to speed up your arrival? Get last into the bus to the terminal, on the right hand side (driving direction). And when the doors open, make a run for it.
Around 7 checks by officials before you get to departures hall, the homeland cannot release without tender...)))

Beware of people trying to cut the line, acting as if they're late for their flight - ask to look at their boarding pass.

Tilek N.June 5, 2013Airport still not good. Finally their got wifi with Internet, but it's slow. No water dispensers here, so if you don't have cash - be patient. Customs could be more friendly- Declare all valuable items plus all the money you have: "notebook, iPhone, iPad, 200 usd etc."

There's free but slow Wi-Fi in the new transit terminal, but be aware that it's too new. Only 1 place to get food, a local fast-food McDonald's look-alike with expensive menu.- Very small and bare airport. Very few amenities and food options at the departures. The bar doesn't accept UZS, so have USD or EUR ready.
Duty free shop accepts Euro, USD and charge credit cards in USD. Baggage handling sucks! Prepare to wait for your baggage for at least 45 minutes upon arrival.

Drinks and snacks in the waiting room cafe only for dollars.
RyanSeptember 19, 2012Duty Free by Gate only accepts Euro, won't accept Uzbek money even when still in Uzbekistan. Shitty airport with shitty people with shitty bureaucracy. People jumping queues too. Shame of Uzbekistan!

Visa guy, messed up my visa (entered 1 entry instead of 2),arrival Immigration area crowded, customs took 1.5 hours even in greenzone

Удивил новый терминал. Duty free стал больше(все равно ничего интересного), игровой зал, ЕСТЬ ЧТО ПОКУШАТЬ (даже за сумы О.О). Много мест что бы сесть и протянуть ноги) В общем круто!
Александр ЛецJuly 1, 2015Да, забыл сказать... В 1982 году летел сюда из Ленинграда на самолёте Ил-62, экипаж был из Ташкента. Очень хорошо долетели, стюардессы были красивые и обслуживали хорошо! Приятно вспомнить!

もひにぃDecember 9, 2013昨春にトルコ・イスタンブールへ行く際に、トランジットで利用した。航空機から、待ち合わせ専用ターミナルまでバスで移動。ターミナルには小さな売店があったが、営業の気配が全く無し。食堂のような場所がこじんまりとあるだけで、あとは通路に沿ってベンチがあるのみ。無料で飲める水のタンクが置いてあり、現地のTV番組が流れているだけで、とても閑散としていた。加えてアナウンスの英語がとても聞き取りづらくて苦労した。

Последние два раза выходил намного быстрее, может все таки что-то меняется:) это крайне радует, но касательно очередей и их управлением... Самое простое, поставьте ленточные ограничители подлиннее!!!

Lidia D. 🇷🇺March 12, 2013Боенг 767, на каждом сидении планшет с играми в том числе сетевыми между пассажирами. Кинофильмы и музыка - весьма скудный выбор... Еда отличная! Повезло с самолетом Бангкок-Ташкент
Просторный аэропорт. В само здание пускают только с билетами, провожающим нельзя. Все толпятся на пункте досмотра у левого крыла. Есть такой же справа, где очереди нет, почему-то.
Sabina AdylovaAugust 3, 2017Аэропорт неудобный, бестолковый дютик, проводить могут только до входа на улице(встретить там же), зато клевые боинги до Москвы и очень удобные.
В аэропорту есть бесплатный wifi. Конечно же не работает - это же Узбекистон!
