Best Dishes Under $10: a slice of New York style pepperoni. They also have incredible Sicilianricotta and meatball, or California-style quail egg, potato, and guanciale. More: http://bit.ly/TbwLaH
Order a Moscow mule with their margherita pizza and meatballs with side of cheesy garlic bread. If you do not want to wait long, try the bar usually a few seats open up quickly!
I'm really disappointed from the world cup winning margarita!! Toney, should visit Golden Boy Pizza (less than 5 min walk) for a taste; or fly to Luini in Milan to remember how dose margarita taste
My favorite pizza in SF. Tough to go wrong, unless you're thinking about getting a table around dinner time. There will be a wait. Save yourself some trouble and get a slice next door.
Tartufo was a good speciality choice option. If you want something more traditional, their margherita is amazing. We also had their New Yorker which I would recommend if you enjoy sausage on pizza.
This is destination pizza. We had the coal fired pepperoni. Excellent sauce. Fresh cheese. Crispy. Six large slices. Enough for two hungry people. Very good salads. We waited 1:20 on a Sat night.
Big recommendation had to wait 1:15 but it is worth the food is amazing I ordered rigatoni with spicy tomato sauce, tuna pizza and garlic bread with cheese super delicious
Yea this spot has a lot of great pizzas. Nice sidewalk dining. Tons of diff pizza types (NY, Detroit, Grandma, thin crust etc etc). Need to hit the granny but the classic pie was great. park adjacent
Had the meatballs which were amazing. Incredibly soft and meaty and that sauce is so good. We got the margarita pizza and the white clam with garlic and bacon. A+ all around.
Classic Italian Mortadella E Burrata isn’t Italian even close.~7mm thin crust, pistachiomortadella with mortadella and pistachio are separate-nonsense.Feels like chef’s never been to any part of Italy
Pizza is as good as the reviews suggest. Guy next to me had lasagna that looked fantastic as well. Best part of the place is the variety of preparations for the pizza. They really stay true to origin
Pizza Margherita, the best pizza I’ve ever had. At the time of my visit (Nov 1st 2013) Tony was a 10-time World Pizza Champion. Follow his success here - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Gemignani
This is simply the best pizza I have ever tried. Incredible taste, thin crust but doesn't break. You can eat it all with your hands. I could never imagine anything as good until I tried it
There is a myriad of really good eats that don't involve the pizza. Try a giant meatball with mushrooms, chorizomussels, burger, or very reasonably priced steaks here for a change of pace.
Some of the best pizza on the west coast! Cool how the menu is divided by different pizza styles across America. Calzones and appetizers are also incredible. Prepare for a carb coma!
I love it! I recommend the New York pizza if you are in a group of 3-4 people. Also all the salads are amazing. The restaurant it self is pretty cozy and you feel comfortable.
"That's How I Roll" = the BEST Manhattan that you've ever had! This is arguably the best pizza place in the USA! My only complaint is that they would not make a "vigin" version of a milkshake.
Has vegan cheese (it’s Daiya cutting board. If you hate regular Daiya you’ll probably be fine with this). Order the Napoletana marinara and add whatever you like. Ask them to use a cleanpizza cutter
Don't miss the Margherita with sausage, made with San Felice flour proofed in Neapolitan wood boxes, bright, pleasantly salty San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, fresh basil, sea salt, and EVOO. Read more
Look no further for a gluten free pie. Tony's is the best in the city and I have tried them all. Sweet, substantive crust to support the already amazingly well balanced sauce.
Pretty much lives up to the hype as far as Napoletana-style pizza goes - get a side order of the honeypancettafries while you wait for your pie to get out of the oven!
Maybe the best pizza in the country. If you are in a hurry, go to the slice house right next door. The people are amazing there. And if you are in the mood the sandwiches are just as good as the pizza
The Margherita Pizza it's a very simple pizza, but taste is amazing, keep it simple and perfect. // La pizza Margherita es muy simple, pero el sabor es impresionante, simple y perfecta.
Tony's is famous for it's simple, fresh and tasty pizza. Grab a slice of the famous Margherita pizza, cooked in a 900 degree wood-burning oven, or the award-winning Cal Italia.
Some of the best pizzas in town for sure. The figpizza is delicious, but I suggest splitting it and something else with another person, or else it can be a lite too sweet
Celebrate 5-years at Tony's Pizza Napoletana with the GuinnessBook of World Records to watch over 300 people simultaneously toss pizza dough to set a new world record! Sat, 6/28, 8:15am-10:30am. Read more
The neapolitan pizzas they do here are excellent and so are their pastas especially the carbonara. Service is slow, but that's to be expected. Long wait times to get a table are also normal here.
Best pizza in town.. Really crowded so plan ahead.. get the Lillet blanc fries for a starter! and a Margherita pizza.. finding parking here is nearly impossible
I knew everyone says this but Tony's honestly does have the most excellent pizza. There's so many different varieties and they are all fantastic. You must try!!
Awesome pizza selection! We loved the variety of different kinds of pies from all over the world. Also, try the meatballs as an appetizer! They're awesome!
