Oh. My. Deliciousness. Get anything with roast beef in it. And the fries are to die for. Delivery might take a while though- its a pretty popular takeout place.

Perfect drunk food. Go for the Popeye for melty, roast beefy goodness w/ just enough spinach to trick yourself into thinking it's healthy. Opt for the bisque fries instead of the cheez fries.

The OTHERTHING pastrami is one of the best in NYC. And the amazing fries are a meal in itself but well worth the effort!

Their seasoned thick cut fries remind me of the kind you get on the boardwalk at the beach. I mean this in the best possible way.

Even though the Popeye costs more - it's worth it. You get a lot more meat and the spinach/garlic/provolone are AWESOME. You must give it a try once.

The pastrami is a must have- The meat is way-smoky and gloriously fatty and a lovely shade of deep red. Untraditionally, coleslaw is put in the sandwich, along with the expected grainy mustard.

The Roast Beef Sandwich is the most popular in the city. The Pastrami Sandwich is the 4th most popular (behind the usual suspects: Katz's Deli, Carnegie Deli and 2nd Ave Deli).

This place is pretty great. You're not going to beat $4.50 for the Roast Beef sammy and the Pastrami @ $7 is a legit option to Katz's $16 tourist trap. If you go pastrami, hold the cole slaw.

The pastrami's great, but the "Something Else" (roast beef w mozz, gravy, au jus, and steak fries all piled in together) is the way to go.
