The tasting menu was well worth the cost. It was such a pleasure to not have to spend time picking out what to eat from a menu. When you make reservations tell them any dietary restrictions.
Since the menu is seasonal and changes almost daily, nothing to say here except the ingredient pairings are very peculiar and the tastes often mix sweet with savory. All in all incredible.
Wow, this place is legit. I can't tell you what to order because the menu's always changing, but we had a duck sausage gnocchi that I'll be dreaming about for weeks. Everything we had was outstanding.
Order the meaty and tender dorade served on corn, summer peppers, gooseberries, pearl onions, & topped w/ basil. The fish is cooked just right and comes out mouthwatering.
A regularly changing menu and daily specials ensure unique and seasonally-focused plates from former Momofuku Ko chefs. A spiced Beef Tartare and Spaghetti Nero were the standouts from the meal.
Oysters on the half shell w/ beet cocktail sauce. These were from Barnstable. I prefer our local Blue Points better. Hints of horseradish in the cocktail sauce. Use as a chaser.
Phenomenal from beginning to end. The fettuccine with veal sweetbreads and prawns was delicious. The scallops and steak were superb. You don't just eat food here. You experience a meal.
Thirty Acres now solely offers a 5-course, $75 tasting menu. Adjustments can be made for vegetarians, and dishes like the 40-day aged Rib Eye and the Celery Root Cappelletti are superb.
Kevin Pemoulie (former chef de cuisine at Momofuku Noodle Bar and sous chef at Craft Bar) opened his own restaurant on Friday in Jersey City. The menu will be seasonal and "Jersey-focused." Read more
Amazing brunch and outstanding service! We got the kielbasa, cheddar & egg sandwich, fingerling potatoes with sour cream & chives, French toast, and side of bacon. Everything was SO delicious!
If you are coming for dinner. Make sure you are here when the restaurant opens at 6pm. The food. Anything and everything on the menu is AMAZING. Marvin will make your dinning experience.
Cool space, church pews for seating, cool crowd. Arctic char was divine. Desserts lemon bar & apple crisp were to-die-for. Just don't order the duck, tough and under-seasoned...
Loved the fluke, nugget potatoes and fried skate. I understand they just opened but wait for food was unbearable. Would not have minded if someone came to check in on us or apologized.
