A great semi-formal oasis In an area filled with awesome, yet totally informal, seafood shacks. Need a place for a date? Come here. The chowder and fried filet of sole we're killer.
Been coming here since they opened. Food is just okay. Tad overpriced for what it is, but not a lot of competition. Service is slow, even a wait when there are many tables open. In a pinch, it's ok.
Getting b'fast here? They aren't flexible w/ reasonable, basic substitutions. They charge you an extra $1 for "real" maple syrup. Don't get their attitude as there are plenty of better options nearby.
waited 15 minutes after being seated to order drinks. drinks didn't come for another 30 minutes. finally got food after 50 minutes and the pancakes were raw inside. would definitely not recommend
Had been long time fans, but this year's experience was underwhelming. Stripped bass was tough, creme brulee was cold & service was so-so. They mailed it in on a Tues night.
