Saturday was poppin for an east side joint. Loved the music. The drinks had a good amount of liquor (def more gin than tonic in my GnT) and they were affordable. The dancing was fun n not too full

With its vintage funeral-parlor-meets-antique-taxidermy-museum vibe, the Volstead appears to pride itself on dirty cool. Sister bar Hotel Vegas next door has live music.

Despite claims to great cocktails there is no drinks menu. If you possess a vagina you will be told that you should have some god-awful cherry vodka drink. Order your standbys & it'll be fine.
